Onsite | Software Engineer (Full Stack) — $15–$20/hour

We are sharing a specialised full-time opportunity for experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers with strong production experience across modern application stacks and the ability to build, integrate, and test software using multiple programming languages.

This role supports advanced generative AI engineering projects focused on building real applications and services around frontier language models. Selected engineers will develop production-quality software, integrate pre-release model APIs, diagnose technical failure modes, and work closely with engineering teams on fast-moving projects.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Software Development

• Build and ship full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and internal engineering tools
• Develop production software using languages such as Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript
• Work across backend systems, modern front-end frameworks, databases, and cloud environments
• Deliver reliable, maintainable code across multiple parts of the application stack
• Contribute working software quickly within fast-moving development cycles

AI Model & API Integration

• Integrate pre-release AI model APIs into functional software applications
• Develop supporting tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and telemetry systems
• Build applications designed to exercise advanced model capabilities end to end
• Test model behaviour within realistic software environments and workflows
• Identify integration issues affecting reliability, performance, or usability

Technical Testing & Failure Analysis

• Diagnose model and software-integration failure modes encountered during development
• Document technical findings and communicate engineering observations clearly
• Translate implementation issues into structured feedback for research and engineering teams
• Stress-test applications and model integrations across realistic scenarios
• Identify technical limitations, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement

Rapid Prototyping & Engineering Delivery

• Prototype solutions quickly against evolving requirements
• Deliver working increments with limited initial specification
• Onboard efficiently onto unfamiliar codebases and technical environments
• Adapt implementation approaches as project requirements change
• Maintain strong engineering standards while operating within rapid development cycles

Engineering Collaboration & Code Quality

• Collaborate with engineering managers and other software engineers across project workstreams
• Maintain consistency in architecture, code quality, and technical documentation
• Communicate complex technical decisions clearly in writing
• Contribute to technical discussions around implementation and system design
• Support reliable delivery across distributed engineering efforts

Ideal Profile

• 3+ years of dedicated professional experience building and shipping production software
• Demonstrated experience delivering software within established technology or product organisations
• Production experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++
• Working proficiency in at least one additional programming language
• Hands-on full-stack experience spanning backend services and APIs, modern front-end frameworks such as React, databases, and cloud deployment
• Strong ability to onboard onto unfamiliar codebases and deliver working code with minimal ramp-up
• Demonstrable progression across previous software engineering roles
• Strong written communication and ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements
• Able to commit reliably to 40 hours per week during weekdays
• Must be based in India
