Warehouse /Storeperson

Carpet Court is Australia's largest flooring retailer with locations all across the country. We have two stores south of the river with a Luxaflex Gallery store in one of our retail shops and a Commercial division run out of our office/warehouse. The position is located at our Kardinya Warehouse.

A vacancy exists for a Full time Warehouse person. The position is a very high paced, high turnover warehouse and only people with previous warehouse experience and the ability to think ahead with a high attention to detail and organization need apply.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Receive stock within a computerized system
• Inventory control and management
• Preparing carpet, timber, vinyl and blinds products ready for installation
• Ability to operate a forklift and works in a hands-on capacity
• Maintaining a safe warehouse environment and culture
• General warehouse duties
• Customer service and liaising with sub-contractors
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Dispatching of goods in a timely and efficient manner
• Deliveries to site with some heavy lifting

To be considered for this position, you will require the following skills and experience:

A proven minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment

Current forklift ticket - Mandatory

Current driver's license - Mandatory. Small truck experience desirable.

Manual license preferred

Ability to meet deadlines.

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Must live South of River

This position is full time 7am till 4 pm.
