About KAVI

Professional investors need to understand businesses before they back them — and the best way to do that is to talk to people who've actually built and run them. That's what we do. We connect investors with industry experts, then turn those conversations into a searchable library covering business models, competitive dynamics, and market trends.

Over 100 investment firms, managing more than USD 100 billion in assets, rely on what we publish. We've built India's largest library of expert conversations, and it is growing every week.

The Role

AI transcribes our expert calls. You make them true.

That gap is bigger than it sounds. Transcription software has no idea what it's listening to. It garbles company names, industry jargon, numbers, and anything said quickly or in an unfamiliar accent — and it does this without hesitating.

A point about Titan becomes a point about ‘tightening’: a sentence that still scans, still reads as English, and is entirely wrong. You're the person who catches it, and the last set of eyes before an investment analyst somewhere reads this and makes a decision based on it.

You'll spend your days inside conversations with founders, operators, and industry veterans explaining how their businesses actually work: where the margins are, who's winning, what's about to break. Most people pay for this kind of access. You'll get it as a byproduct of the job.

What You’ll Do

  • Turn spoken English into readable English: edit AI-generated transcripts to publication standard
  • Fix spelling, context, grammar, and punctuation — a clean transcript should still sound like the person who spoke it
  • Untangle sentences that ramble, restart mid-thought, or stop halfway
  • Research names, companies, and terminology until every detail is right

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar
  • Some editing or copyediting experience — internships, student publications, and freelance work all count
  • A good ear: you'll hear every Indian accent, plus the occasional bad phone line
  • Attention to detail that borders on inconvenient
  • Genuine curiosity about business and investing — you don't need to know anything yet, but you should want to
