Remote Producer/Project Admin
World Production Service
Job Description
Project Admin โ Global Media Production Network
Required Production Experience
This is not a general administrative position. The successful candidate must have practical experience working on professional video, photography, film, television, documentary or commercial productions.
Candidates should:
- Have previous experience working on professional shoots.
- Have worked as a production fixer, local producer, production coordinator or in a similar production role.
- Understand how production projects operate from the initial inquiry and quotation stage through pre-production, shooting and final completion.
- Be familiar with sourcing and coordinating crew, equipment, locations, permits, transportation, accommodation, talent and other local production requirements.
- Understand production quotations, supplier negotiations, production schedules, call sheets and project budgets.
- Be able to identify potential production risks and solve practical problems quickly.
- Have an existing network of local production suppliers, crew members or industry contacts in their country or region.
Strong Advantages
Candidates will have a stronger chance of being selected if they:
- Own, operate or work closely with a legally registered local production company.
- Can provide local production services, issue official quotations and invoices, and enter into service agreements where required.
- Have an established network of reliable local crew members, production houses, equipment suppliers, locations, fixers and other production partners.
- Have experience supporting international clients or overseas production companies.
- Can provide examples of previous productions they have coordinated or fixed.
- Have additional language skills beyond English.
Having a locally registered production company is not compulsory, but it will be considered a significant advantage because it may allow the candidate to provide additional local production support and help World Production Service deliver projects more efficiently in their region.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced production fixer or coordinator with strong administrative and communication skills. They should be equally comfortable communicating with international clients, sourcing local suppliers, reviewing quotations, preparing proposals and solving practical production challenges.
This person should not simply wait for instructions. They should take ownership of each inquiry, anticipate what information or resources are required and actively move the project from inquiry to successful completion.
