Registered Nurse

We have the opportunity for a part-time Registered Nurse to join our expanding community driven GP Clinic. Flexible hours. Ideally looking for someone 3 full days a week or part-time hours 4/5 days a week. Also opportunity for someone looking for full-time work to work 2 days a week at our sister clinic, Northern Skin Doctors.

ABOUT US:

Yorkeys Medical Centre, established in 2021, is a family, locally owned and managed, healthcare practice. We take great pride in providing our community with high quality, patient-centric healthcare. We are currently seeking a friendly, innovative and empathetic professional to join our expanding practice as a Registered Nurse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a clinical setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories and health evaluations.
• Administer medications, treatments and vaccinations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures and other clinical interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
• Registered with APHRA (Essential)
• Familiarity with medical software Best Practice (Highly Regarded)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights
