Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Sales professional at Custom Designs Furniture in Belrose, NSW. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales of our high-quality furniture products.

Key responsibilities

• Providing knowledgeable and personalised assistance to customers in selecting the perfect furniture pieces for their homes or businesses
• Demonstrating product features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Achieving or exceeding individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques
• Maintaining a visually appealing and well-organised showroom to showcase our furniture collections
• Assisting with inventory management, product merchandising, and stock replenishment tasks
• Resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner
• Collaborating with the broader retail team to provide a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably within the furniture or home furnishings industry
• A minimum of 1-2 years retail or sales experience is required for this position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers
• Strong product knowledge and the capacity to understand and articulate the unique features and benefits of our furniture offerings
• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets through proactive and consultative selling approaches
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Permanent residency status is required for this position
