Role DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Test Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through effective testing activities. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand business requirements, identify potential risks, and validate system functionality. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, preparing test data, documenting test results, reporting and tracking defects, and supporting defect resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
The Test Analyst will participate in requirement reviews, functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing while ensuring that testing activities align with project objectives and quality standards. The role also involves maintaining testing documentation, improving testing processes, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential to ensure high-quality software delivery in a collaborative environment.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Ability to design, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and system test cases. Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools. Basic understanding of SQL and database validation techniques.
Knowledge of API testing concepts and web application testing. Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment.
