Fuel Delivery Driver – Little Current Region

Your Day-to-Day

As a Fuel Delivery Driver withNew North Fuels, you will play a key role in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products to our commercial, forestry, residential, and mining customers throughout theManitoulin Island region and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a tanker truck while adapting to different territories, road conditions, and changing weather conditions.
  • Deliver petroleum products safely, efficiently, and professionally to our customers.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected situations in the field.
  • Complete deliveries in accordance with New North Fuels’ procedures, safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is operated safely and responsibly.

Your Profile

  • Hold a validClass DZ or AZ driver’s licencewith a strong driving record.
  • Previous fuel delivery or tanker experience is considered an asset.
  • Be resourceful, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible.
  • Enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your daily responsibilities.
  • Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in remote locations.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Enjoy being on the road and working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
  • Comfortable operating bothmanual and automatic transmission vehicles.

What We Offer

  • A5-day work week with 2 days off. Scheduled days off may vary based on operational requirements, andweekend availability may be required
  • A 40-hour work week with opportunities for overtime.
  • An assigned tanker truck for your deliveries, including either manual or automatic transmission units.
  • Competitive starting compensation of$28 – $32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay:

$28.00-$32.00 per hour

Experience:

Driving: 2 years (preferred)
