Position: Nurse

Society for Applied Studies (SAS), a Delhi based not-for-profit research organization, invites applications for the position of Nurse for Society for Applied Studies (SAS), New Delhi.

Location: Study Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi and / or Field office (near New Delhi Railway station) 

Positions available: Two (2)

Qualifications: GNM

● Essential:

○ General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

○ At least 2 years of relevant field experience in antenatal care

○ Proficiency in basic computer and smartphone applications

○ Good communication skills in English and Hindi

● Desirable:

○ BSc nursing or graduate in other allied medical fields

○ Experience working in antenatal care clinic, obstetric wards or neonatal ward

Job Description: This position would provide an exciting opportunity for interested candidates to be a part of a clinical research team and gain valuable experience in an ICMR funded study being conducted in LHMC, New Delhi to prevent preterm birth.

● Responsible for project specific activities – care of participant and follow up

● Data collection, form filling, maintaining records and registers

● Timely management of logistics and inventory, medications, recordkeeping

● Conduct field visit (as necessary) to follow pregnant women and complete task assignments

● Summarize field activities and observations, and escalate issues in a timely manner

● Perform any other study-related activities as delegated by the supervisor or coordinator
