Electronics Production Technician / Diploma Engineer (ITI/Diploma)

Required Qualification

• ITI (Electronics Mechanic) or Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication.
• 0–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing/production (Freshers with good practical
• skills may also apply).

Job Description

• Assemble and solder Through-hole (THT) and SMD PCBs.
• Perform PCB rework using a soldering iron and hot air station.
• Read circuit schematics, PCB assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Program microcontrollers and verify firmware after programming.
• Perform PCB inspection, cleaning, and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot PCB-level faults and carry out basic rework.
• Assemble electronic products into enclosures, including wiring and cable management.
• Label finished products with serial numbers and prepare them for packing.
• Follow production work instructions, ESD practices, and quality procedures.
• Maintain production and testing records.

Required Skills

• Good hands-on experience in Through-hole (THT) and SMD soldering (0402/0603/0805, QFN, SOIC, TSSOP).
• Knowledge of PCB rework using a hot air station and soldering tools.
• Familiarity with solder paste, flux and ESD-safe working practices.
• Ability to read circuit schematics, PCB assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Proficient in using a Digital Multimeter (DMM) for voltage, current, resistance, and continuity measurements.
• Basic knowledge of oscilloscope operation and PCB troubleshooting.
• Experience with USB/UART firmware programming and firmware verification.
• Understanding of PCB inspection, functional testing, and basic failure analysis.
• Ability to assemble products into enclosures, perform wire harness assembly, cable management, and proper screw fastening.
• Good attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a production environment.
