Temp Admin - Resource Planner
Parker Stewart
Job Description
We're hiring on behalf of one of Ireland's leading approved housing bodies — an organisation at the forefront of delivering affordable, quality housing and building communities where people genuinely want to live.
The contract:
4–6 week temporary assignment. Immediate start required. Two vacancies available. Salary: circa €40,000 per annum (pro-rated for contract duration) / circa €20 per hour.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for managing the daily diaries and scheduling of trade operatives — prioritising the right trades, planning efficient routes and making sure the repairs programme runs to time, to KPI and to the standard tenants expect. This is a fast‑paced, detail‑driven role that sits at the heart of the repairs operation.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Managing the diaries of trade operatives — prioritising correct trades, planning efficient routes and maximising daily productivity
- Monitoring adherence to end‑to‑end times and KPIs across the repairs programme
- Using the repairs policy measures to monitor work performance and flag issues
- Completing daily administrative tasks to keep data and systems clean, accurate and up to date
- Dealing with all customers in a professional and courteous manner — you'll be a point of contact, not just a back‑office planner
- Ensuring tenants receive the best service possible at every touchpoint
What we need:
- Experience in route planning or scheduling — this is the core of the role
- A working knowledge of repair types and trades — you need to know what you're scheduling, not just how to use the system
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite — particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritise and multi‑task in a busy, fast‑moving environment
- Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently
- Experience in the housing sector or a related field is an advantage — not essential, but it will help you hit the ground running
The reality of the role:
This is a temporary role with an immediate start — we need two people who can come in, get up to speed quickly and deliver from day one. If you have a scheduling or resource planning background and want to contribute to something that genuinely matters — affordable housing for real communities — this is worth a conversation.
Dublin — Hybrid working arrangement
Immediate start. Two openings. 4–6 week contract duration with potential to be extended.
