As a Registered Nurse, you will enable individuals to live well by applying loving care in all that you do and inspiring your team to do the same. In understanding the unique needs and preferences of each resident in your care, you’ll deliver best practice clinical care that leads with heart. You’ll develop genuine connections and build confidence and trust with your resident and their loved ones whilst supervising and leading your team.

Job Description

You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents by:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitoring and recording resident's conditions and maintaining accurate Care Plan and medicalrecords
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
  • Providing support and guidance to care staff
  • Participating in family meetings and contributing to care planning
  • Adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain standards of care
  • Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Remaining updated with current practices and participating in continuous professional development.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Registered Nurse in Aged Care is highly preferred.
  • Hold a validAHPRA Registration with no notation or conditions.
  • Hold a current or ability to obtain National Police Check completed within the last 3 months.
  • Has full Australian work rights
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of StrengthenAged Care Quality Standards anddocumentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
