Job Description

We are looking for experienced IT Rollout & Field Support Technicians to support a large-scale end-user device refresh program across metro and regional locations. These are hands-on roles working directly with users to deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops/desktops as well as iPhones and iPads.

The successful candidates will be customer-focused, technically capable, and comfortable travelling to regional sites to support scheduled rollout waves and in-person device handovers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deploy Windows laptops and desktops using standard build and provisioning processes.
  • Ensure devices are fully configured, tested, and ready for day-one use.
  • Work face-to-face with users during device handover, supporting sign-in, MFA, core applications, OneDrive setup and data migration, email, Teams, printers, and peripherals.
  • Provision and manage iPhones and iPads using Apple Business Manager and Intune (Automated Device Enrolment).
  • Assign device profiles, deploy applications, and ensure endpoint compliance.
  • Travel to regional locations to support onsite rollout waves and scheduled pickup/handover sessions.
  • Provide in-person support and triage post-deployment issues, escalating where required.
  • Update and close incidents and requests in the ITSM tool.
  • Collect, wipe, decommission, and retire old equipment in line with asset and security procedures.
  • Update asset records and documentation following each deployment.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows endpoint rollouts in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Windows Autopilot, including ESP monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing iOS/iPadOS devices in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of user data migration, including OneDrive Known Folder Move.
  • Experience supporting first-day readiness including networking, VPN, Outlook, Teams, printers, and drivers.
  • Excellent customer service skills, particularly in live, face-to-face handover settings.
  • Comfortable travelling to regional locations with a valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience working from runbooks and checklists.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident and request management.
