About the role

Cactus Wellhead Australia has a vacancyfor trainees or experienced technicians who are looking for an opportunity in oil and gas. Reporting to the Service Manager, the position will be responsible for the field installation and service of wellhead, Xmas trees, and associated wellhead equipment.

This position will be rostered for two weeks on and two weeks off.

Applicants must be willing to travel and work away from home base for extended periods, we have work in Brisbane, Perth, SA, and Roma, and this role could be required to travel to these locations and other locations depending on the needs of the business. On occasions as workload dictates, the incumbent will also be required to assist with the assembly and testing of the product in the Brendale workshop.

Successful candidates will be motivated, customer-focused, and place a high priority on safe work practices.

About you

Oil and gas experience is not essential.

Mechanical Trade qualifications are advantageous.

High degree of Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and time management.

Previously workedin FIFO conditions.

A high priority onsafe work practices.

The ability to work away from home base in a remote location, in allweather conditions.

A strong customer focus and motivation to succeed.

Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Must possess a Manual driver's license.

Pre-employment screening including a medical, police check, and driver history check is required for this role.

Licenses & qualifications related to the oil & gas industry will behighly advantageous.

The total Remuneration package contains Base salary, Field day bonus, and Super. The remuneration package is dependent on the skills and experience of the applicant.
