Fullstack Developer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a large, well-established insurance organisation based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale digital platforms while playing a key role in the build-out of an innovative AI Lab, helping shape the next generation of AI-powered products and internal capabilities. Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern cloud-native applications while collaborating on cutting-edge AI initiatives within a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain full stack applications using Node.js, Angular, and AWS. Contribute to the build-out of a new AI Lab, developing the platforms and services that will support AI-driven solutions across the business. Build secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs and web applications.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, AI specialists, designers, and engineering teams to deliver innovative technology solutions. Contribute to system design, technical decision-making, and engineering best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies. Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience Significant commercial experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.

Strong expertise in Node.js and backend API development. Excellent experience building modern front-end applications using Angular. Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.

Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing and CI/CD. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. An interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and machine learning, with a desire to contribute to innovative solutions. What's on Offer Long-term contract opportunity with a leading insurance organisation.
