Core Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting: Manage and prepare accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Audit Leadership: Lead and support audits for larger clients, including group consolidations under FRS 102 (and some IFRS).
- Taxation: Assist with corporate and income tax compliance (full training provided where needed).
- Client Advisory: Act as a direct point of contact for clients, building strong professional relationships.
- Practice Workflow: Balance varied tasks and priorities efficiently within a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualification: Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA etc.)
- Practice Background: Solid prior experience working within an Irish accountancy practice.
- Audit & Accounting: Excellent foundation in core accounting principles and practical audit experience (group/consolidation exposure preferred).
- Tax Knowledge: Basic tax exposure is a plus, though training will be provided.
- Key Skills:
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills for direct client engagement.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a eagerness to learn.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: €45,000.00 – €62,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience)
