Operations Technician (BBBH29350) Dublin, Republic of Ireland

Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for an Operations Technician to join the Operator on a decarbonization and renewable energy upgrade project at the Edenderry power plant in County Offaly, Ireland for a 3 months initial contract.

The Operations Technician position comes with a day rate from €300.00 to €400.00 per day.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• Operate and monitor power generation plant and associated equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation.
• Monitor plant performance, availability and process efficiency, identifying and responding to operational issues or abnormalities.
• Operate plant in accordance with System Operator instructions, site procedures and applicable I-SEM requirements.
• Carry out first-line fault finding, accurately recording defects within the site maintenance management system.
• Support maintenance teams during planned outages, breakdowns and other plant maintenance activities.
• Manage site deliveries where required, including material intake, sampling and coordination of samples for laboratory analysis.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with site Safety Rules, environmental licences and relevant health & safety procedures.
• Act as part of the site’s first-line response to plant emergencies, maintaining safe access and security of the facility
