Offshore Electrical Technician

We are looking for Offshore Electrical Technicians to join our global team. Our Offshore Technicians ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of MDL Flex-lay assets' whilst offshore. This involves working with a range of electrical equipment, control systems and associated components used in the flex-lay operations of MDL equipment, across the globe.

For this vacancy we are looking for Brazil based, Brazilian nationals to join our global team of Electricians and Mechanics. The Electrical Technician will also be responsible for assisting the Supervisor in compiling reports for onshore management and on occasion stand in for the MDL Team Lead/ Supervisor and act as focal point offshore ensuring clients requirements are understood, prioritised, and delivered. Work is primarily based on client vessels globally.

Key Result Areas Offshore Operations: Safely and proficiently performing operations with MDL flex lay assets to deliver client missions. Electrical System Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and components on offshore rental assets to identify potential issues, defects, or areas requiring maintenance. Mechanical System Inspections: Assistmechanics when required to carry outinspections of mechanical systems and components on offshore rental assets to identify potential issues, defects, or areas requiring maintenance.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify the root cause of malfunctions, failures, or performance issues. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to diagnose electrical problems accurately. Maintenance and Repair: Carry out maintenance and repair activities on electrical systems, including wiring, switches, circuit breakers, control panels, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
