Accountant

EER Poland is looking for accountant for an international company operating within the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry, providing laboratory, inspection, and technical services to industrial clients worldwide.

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join one of the company's local finance teams.

Location: Itaguaí (Rio de Janeiro), Brazil

Full-time / On-site

The successful candidate will be responsible only for the accounting activities of the local branch in their respective country.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the local branch, ensuring accurate accounting records, statutory compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing vouchers, bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations
• Handling daily banking operations
• Managing statutory accounting and local taxation matters
• Vendor invoice processing and payment accounting
• Preparing management reports (MIS) related to income, expenses and profitability
• SAP accounting entries
• Supporting monthly sales closing and preparing financial reports for Corporate Finance and Branch Management
• Preparing and sending invoices and supporting documentation to clients
• Maintaining accounting and administrative documentation required for internal and external audits
• Supporting cost control initiatives and recommending improvements
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies
• Maintaining accounting records and statutory documentation
• Supporting additional finance-related activities assigned by management

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals who have:

• Previous experience in Accounting or Finance
• Good knowledge of local accounting regulations and statutory requirements
• Experience with taxation and financial reporting
• SAP experience would be an advantage
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while cooperating with international teams
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
