About Us:

Indie School provides students in Years 9 – 12 theopportunity to learn in a supportiveenvironment using individual learning plans, tailored to each student's own education and life circumstances. Smaller class sizes allow students greater opportunity to identify their strengths and work to improve areas in which they lack confidence.

A day in the life:

• Deliver the teaching program in line with appropriate curriculum.
• Have excellent teacher knowledge, practice and professional engagement.
• Ensure an effective use of time and resources in the delivery of classes aligned to student’s individual learning and pathways plans.
• Promote the school’s alternative educational and strengths-based model to ensure student goals and personal outcomes are progressed with the focus on“Changing the Lives of Young People”.

We can offer you:

• Day rate of $639 + super (full day paid for all shift lengths)
• Internal opportunities within a large network of schools
• Immediate commencement in term 3

For this role, applicants must be willing and able to obtain:

• National Police Check (issued within 3 months prior to appointment) and renewed annually.
• Relevant State Working with Children’s Check
• Hold a current teaching registration - TRBWA
