About Renal Technical Services
The Renal Technician supports the Austin Health dialysis units and home dialysis patients as well as the regional sites within our catchment to ensure correct operation of equipment and services.
A regular day will see you:
- Ensure the proper and accurate running of the total equipment system
- Identify and exchange faulty assemblies
- Bench repair of sub-assemblies
- Attend and shift equipment to a variety of locations
- Maintain reports on servicing, repair and breakdown of equipment.
About you
As the Renal Technician, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment toexcellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest indeveloping your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- A tertiary qualification in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering
- Innovative approach to problem solving
- Hold and maintain a current driver’s license
- Flexible in working hours and location
