The Head of Marketing is responsible for designing, leading and executing Cruiseabout's national marketing strategy across brand, customer, supplier co-op, paid, owned and earned channels. This role drives enquiry generation, conversion and TTV growth across the national store network and supports the brand's expansion from 9 to 20+ stores. The role owns the brand framework, the supplier marketing program, CRM and lifecycle marketing through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Paid Marketing activity (digital, retail and above the line) and World360 loyalty integration for the Cruiseabout customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and plan, owning KPIs, zero‑based budget planning, quarterly reforecasting, and ROI to drive enquiries, conversions, cost efficiency, and TTV contribution
- Own the brand strategy, ensuring consistent brand execution across all touchpoints while driving customer insights, loyalty growth, and brand advocacy
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships by planning and executing annual co‑marketing programs, maintaining the supplier marketing calendar, and tracking campaign performance and ROI for suppliers and leadership
- Lead Cruiseabout's performance marketing strategy by overseeing paid media across multiple channels, managing agency partnerships, and optimising attribution, measurement, and channel mix
- Lead Cruiseabout's owned and earned channel strategy by optimising the website, SEO, CRM and lifecycle marketing, driving organic content and social media, and managing PR and trade media relationships
- Lead end‑to‑end campaign planning and delivery, aligning promotional activity with product and supplier priorities while managing creative and production partners
- Build store‑level marketing capability targeting community groups such as Probus, U3A, RSL and golf clubs near each store
- Active member of the Cruiseabout SWOT leadership team, contributing to overall strategy, capability planning and business decision‑making
Who are you?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing
- Proficiency in budget management
- Expertise in B2B marketing strategies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of web programs
- Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, and CRM platforms
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Proficient in conflict resolution
- Skilled in media relations
