Devika Multispeciality Hospital & Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its diagnostic services into Hyderabad with a new advanced imaging centre at SR Nagar.
The centre will provide comprehensive diagnostic services including 1.5T MRI, advanced 128 slice Cardiac CT imaging, ultrasound, Doppler, digital X-ray and laboratory services. Our objective is to build a clinically strong, quality-driven radiology department with standardized imaging protocols, timely reporting and close coordination with referring clinicians.
Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant Radiologist / Clinical Lead for a full-time, on-site position at our upcoming centre in SR Nagar, Hyderabad.
The selected radiologist will take clinical ownership of the imaging department and play a key role in commissioning, protocol standardization, reporting quality, technician supervision and day-to-day radiology operations.
This is suitable for an experienced radiologist looking for a stable, long-term leadership position with an expanding healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently report MRI, CT and digital X-ray examinations with high diagnostic accuracy and appropriate turnaround time.
- Perform and supervise ultrasound and Doppler examinations.
- Review, optimize and standardize MRI and CT imaging protocols.
- Guide MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray technologists regarding patient positioning, sequence planning, contrast administration and image quality.
- Identify technically inadequate studies and ensure appropriate corrective imaging before reporting.
- Communicate urgent and critical findings promptly to referring clinicians.
- Develop structured reporting templates and departmental reporting standards.
- Oversee contrast safety, emergency preparedness and imaging-related quality assurance.
- Support the establishment and stabilization of the radiology department during the centre’s launch phase.
- Participate in recruitment, training and performance supervision of junior radiologists and technical staff.
- Ensure proper ultrasound documentation and compliance with applicable PCPNDT requirements.
- Support radiation-safety and AERB-related departmental processes; formal RSO responsibilities will be assigned only subject to eligibility and regulatory approval.
- Coordinate with hospital management to improve clinical quality, operational efficiency and patient experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Radio Diagnosis or Radiology.
- Valid registration with the relevant Medical Council.
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Strong independent competence in MRI, CT, ultrasound, Doppler and X-ray reporting.
- Experience in handling high-volume radiology departments or diagnostic centres.
- Strong understanding of MRI and CT protocol planning and image-quality optimization.
- Ability to supervise technical staff and maintain consistent departmental standards.
- Good clinical communication and critical-finding escalation skills.
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS and digital reporting workflows.
- Experience with PCPNDT documentation, quality assurance or departmental leadership will be preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to work full-time and on-site at SR Nagar, Hyderabad
Compensation
- Monthly compensation of ₹3,00,000 to ₹4,00,000, depending on experience, modality competence, ultrasound capability, reporting efficiency and leadership responsibilities.
- Additional compensation may be provided for agreed workload beyond the defined monthly threshold.
- Sunday or extended-duty work will be compensated separately as per institutional policy.
