Account Manager - Consulting Sales - VIC

About the role

Exciting opportunity available for a passionate, relationship centric individual to step into the Account Manager – Consulting Sales based in VIC. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial, the primary purpose of this role is to get Daikin product specified during project design and construct to achieve consulting sales budget by working closely with consultants & engineers to understand their project requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rapport with current base of consultants within the CBD & regional area.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and seminars for targeted customers and projects to ensure facilitation of continuous business growth.
• Work closely with consultants & engineers to understand project requirements and translate technical designs into Daikin product solutions.
• Achieve consulting sales budget by specifying Daikin products during project design and construction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent (highly advantageous).
• Previous experience or exposure to selling HVAC solutions and/or experience.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical designs and translate to product solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with consultants & engineers.
• Motivation and resilience to thrive for success through complex projects.
• Self‑motivated individual able to manage own workload, escape issues when needed, and contribute to a productive team environment.
