We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical support to the team at Bethanie Dalyellup Aged Care Home.

This role is available on a casual basis.

About You

  • Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment is an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems.
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one COVID and annual flu).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one).

The Role

  • Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers.
  • Complete assessment and / or admission requirements.
  • Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and / or allied health staff.
  • Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements.
  • Provide mentoring and training to employees where required.
