Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of energy retail initiatives across complex business and technology environments.

Energy retail experience is essential for this role. You’ll need to understand the way retail energy businesses operate, including customer, billing, payments and service processes.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can bring clarity to complexity, keep delivery moving, and help turn business requirements into outcomes that work in the real world.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, developers, testers and vendors to:

• Elicit, analyse, document and manage business requirements
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Produce clear BA artefacts including process maps, user stories, business requirements documents and impact assessments
• Translate complex business needs into practical solution options
• Support solution design, estimation, prioritisation and delivery planning
• Perform impact assessments, gap analysis and process improvement activities
• Coordinate UAT, defect triage and business readiness activities
• Help keep delivery focused on clear, commercial business outcomes

What you bring

You’re structured, curious and outcome-driven. You’ll need:

• 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years experience in Energy & Utilities
• Strong energy retail experience is essential
• Experience across customer onboarding, billing, payments, concessions, hardship management and customer service processes
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across leadership, business, delivery and vendor teams
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• The ability to turn complex requirements into clear, actionable delivery outcomes
