About the role

TRS Staffing is seeking a Project/Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of a major construction project. Working closely with the Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate site preparation and early works activities.
  • Manage service relocations and stakeholder interfaces.
  • Oversee surveying, set-out, and verification works.
  • Support establishment and management of site compounds.
  • Supervise ground improvement works, including CFA piling and minor excavations.
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisor to manage subcontractors, safety, quality, and progress.
  • Assist with building construction activities, including structural steel, rigging, and scaffolding works.

Skills and experience required

  • 3+ years' experience as a Project or Site Engineer in civil and commercial construction.
  • Experience with site preparation, service relocations, earthworks, and ground improvement works.
  • Knowledge of surveying, set-out, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to coordinate subcontractors and site construction activities.
  • Exposure to structural steel installation, rigging, and scaffolding works.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and project delivery requirements.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
