Responsibilities

  • Design and implement satellite communication systems and integrate satellite data for grid analysis.
  • Design and define the architecture for satellite-based communication, monitoring, or sensing systems.
  • Ensure compatibility of satellite power systems and communication links with the company’s ground infrastructure.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of a project, including research, design, development, testing, and deployment of space-based assets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (grid operations, IT, finance) and external partners (satellite operators, vendors) to ensure seamless integration.

  • Define requirements for the satellite communication system, including data rates and latency.
  • Design the satellite payload and its integration with the company’s ground control software.
  • Ensure the system’s power budget is adequate for its mission lifespan.
  • Test the system on the ground to verify performance before launch.
  • Collaborate with the satellite operator to ensure smooth data delivery once the system is operational.
