Education Assistant – Learning Support (Years 6 to 12)
Helena College is a non‑religious, independent, co‑educational school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in the Perth Hills – just 25 km from Perth City.
Across two campuses in Darlington and Glen Forrest, we provide a balanced education, developing the whole child through inquiry‑based learning programs in the primary and middle school years, and preparing students for ATAR and general pathways in Years 10 to 12.

Role Description
Status: Permanent Part‑time – 9 day fortnight for 39 term weeks.
Effective date: Commencement as soon as practicable.
Working closely with the Learning Support Specialist you will provide timely documentation, observations, and feedback related to student progress and the effectiveness of learning programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s qualification in a field related to student learning support, with demonstrated experience working with students in Years 6 to 12.
- Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining): a current Working with Children Check, a current Police Certificate.
- Ability to work autonomously, and effectively with and collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational ability.
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) the Apple operating platform.
