Our College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Primary Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. We are looking for an educator with a strong understanding of effective teaching practices for students in Years 3–6, a commitment to excellence in learning, and a genuine passion for supporting student growth and wellbeing. The successful applicant will also embrace and uphold the Catholic ethos that guides all aspects of school life.

About the Role

We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate, and rigorous learning programs for upper primary students. The ideal candidate will bring strong pedagogical knowledge, a collaborative and team focused mindset, and a genuine desire to contribute to the academic, spiritual, and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high quality learning programs for upper primary students, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing
• Assess student learning accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with SCSA Achievement Standards
• Model and promote the Catholic ethos, values, and pastoral care principles of the school
• Develop innovative teaching resources and collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to cocurricular and whole school activities
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families, and staff
• Uphold Child Safe School guidelines and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current TRBWA registration
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education (primary)
• Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Commitment to CEWA Child Safe Framework
