Salary Range: $79,589 - $118,063 + 12% super
Location: Inner North-West Melbourne
Employment Type: Full-time (Fixed Term to end of 2026, with potential to extend / become ongoing)

This is an ASAP start opportunity covering an extended leave arrangement, with the role initially running through to the end of 2026 and the possibility of extension or ongoing employment. About the Role
This position is teaching Religious Education across multiple year levels up to Year 12. The school's preference is for a full-time teacher taking a full load however there is flexibility around having 2 part time teachers so all are welcome to apply. You'll contribute to engaging, purposeful RE programs and support students to develop understanding, reflection and respectful dialogue.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons aligned to curriculum expectations
- Create inclusive classroom routines that support learning, behaviour and belonging
- Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning, moderation and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with students, families and staff
- Contribute to wider school priorities and co-curricular or pastoral expectations as required
You Will Have
- Current (or pending) VIT registration
- Experience teaching Religious Education and/or a strong interest in teaching RE
- Capacity to teach across multiple secondary year levels (Years 7-12)
- Strong classroom management and calm, consistent approach
- Sound curriculum planning and assessment practice
- Willingness to participate in school community life and uphold school values (no Saturday sport)
