Permanent Part Time Opportunity – 17.5 hours per week

$111,798 - $132,585 package includes salary ($98,499 - $116,813 pro‑rata), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

We are seeking world‑class educators to inspire the next generation of Literacy and Numeracy students. You will help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process, facilitate learning by delivering world‑class educational programs and enable students to achieve their desired outcomes. You will have moderate numeracy experience and experience with digital literacy.

  • Teach students face‑to‑face in classrooms
  • Issue, mark and provide comprehensive feedback on assessments
  • Undertake student administration, including marking registers and recording results
  • Maintain relationships with local industry professionals and employers

About You

Essential requirements:

  1. Hold one of the following qualifications:
    • A recognised Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus
    • A recognised postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND
    • A qualification at AQF5 (or above) and relevant experience in an LLND area
  2. Minimum of three years post‑qualification experience in teaching LLND.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document for details.
  4. Be prepared to continue to develop VET knowledge and skills as well as industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Note: Successful applicants coming under #3 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (ALaNT) + TAELLN skillset within 18 months of engagement.
