The company operates from a purpose-built 2,000m² factory in Lambton, NSW, employing more than 50 team members across assembly, machine operation, transport, and installation. Using advanced technology such as CNC machinery and CAD‑to‑CAM software, EOF delivers both standard product ranges and fully custom office solutions tailored to size, color, and design.

EOF also offers minor building works and fitout services, including flooring, partitions, painting, and technology solutions, providing end‑to‑end project management. A 1,000m² showroom showcases a wide range of desks, workstations, chairs, and cabinets, supported by experienced sales professionals who guide clients in selecting the right furniture for their needs.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Receptionist Sales role based in New Lambton Heights, NSW. The role involves greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing the reception area, and responding to customer inquiries with professional and courteous service. The Receptionist Sales team member will support the sales process by booking appointments, providing product information, preparing basic quotes, and assisting with showroom presentations.

Daily tasks include handling email correspondence, maintaining accurate records, performing general clerical duties, and coordinating with the transport and installation teams when required. The role also includes maintaining a tidy and welcoming showroom environment and collaborating closely with sales professionals to ensure a positive customer experience from first contact through to purchase.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette and receptionist duties, including answering calls, directing inquiries, and managing visitor flow.
  • Solid clerical skills, such as data entry, document handling, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience in a reception, front‑of‑house, or administrative role within a sales or showroom environment is highly regarded.
  • Comfort using common office software (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets) and learning company‑specific systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional presentation suitable for a customer‑facing role.
  • Previous experience in furniture, retail, or interior fitout industries is beneficial but not essential.
