Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as the enterprise business owner of CSL's sustainability reporting platform and related data governance processes, establishing system controls, data quality standards, reporting methodologies and a multi‑year roadmap to support evolving reporting requirements.
  • Oversee data requirements for CSL’s various sustainability disclosures, including Annual Report, AASB S2 Report, CSRD, EU Tax, Website, and more.
  • Act as technical expert for CSL sustainability data, including subject matter expertise under GHG protocol standards.
  • Work with functional departments to collect information required for environmental data, including Scope 3 calculations.
  • Manage CSL’s annual audit program, working with external auditors to set up meetings, chase data owners and close observations to meet global reporting timelines.
  • Lead sustainability data strategy and provide recommendations to support enterprise sustainability targets and disclosure obligations, including emissions modelling and quantification of initiatives.
  • Be an active member of the team, bringing new ideas and helping navigate a rapidly changing data‑focused disclosure landscape.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, sustainability, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, GRI, IFRS) preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, within financial services or Big4, including financial reporting, corporate governance, risk management, internal controls or sustainability management.
  • Expertise in sustainability‑related disclosures and industry trends, and a willingness to develop advanced expertise across evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders (senior leaders and junior team members) to align expectations, timelines, deliverables, and priorities amid multiple demands.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to drive actions from analyses and insights, with good judgment and decision‑making competence.
  • Strong communication skills and comprehensive understanding of sustainability/finance interactions.
  • Commitment to environmental and social responsibility with a passion for advancing sustainability goals within the organization and broader community.
  • Experience working in a complex supply‑chain environment.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven track record of development and successful implementation of disclosure/reporting requirements, preferably sustainability.
