Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (commensurate with experience)

Ormeau Business Park has a superb opportunity available for an efficient and capable Facilities Officer to join their organisation.
Job Description
The person within this client-facing role shall be the first point of contact at Reception for all tenants and clients and shall operate the facilities helpdesk, handling and overseeing maintenance across the site. You shall also operate the telephony service at Reception, assist with room hire reservations, catering requests, general business support enquiries, security, and oversee car parking on site.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and liaise with maintenance contractors.
- Oversee car parking on site.
- Oversee the fire, safety, key, alarm, first aid, and waste disposal systems on site.
- Operate the main switchboard and act as a first point of contact at Reception.
- Liaise with tenants and log, oversee, and action any maintenance requests that may be required.
- Meet and greet all visitors and tenants at the main Reception in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Assist with the administrative duties of the organisation, including the booking of function rooms, invoicing, sorting mail, and updating records in line with ISO standards.
- Liaise with catering suppliers in relation to clients' room bookings.
- Log enquiries made to the organisation in relation to property, function rooms, and business support.
- Prepare rooms, including the setting up of visual aids. (Applicants should note this role involves handling and moving furniture, and the ability to undertake safe manual handling is essential.)
- Ensure that messages are correctly communicated to staff members.
- Open and lock the site when required outside of working hours.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Assist with any other duties that may be required.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C or above.
- High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
- Understanding of the role of facilities and maintenance within the workplace.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety, Emergency, Fire, and Security procedures.
- Experience of record management and information systems.
- Excellent people and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Previous experience within a Facilities or similar role.
Desirable
- Level 2 ICT Certificate.
