HR Truck Driver

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Employment Type: Casual pay with Guaranteed Full-Time Hours and Optional overtime available

Auscon Metals is a leading scrap metal recycling company based in Armadale and we are looking for a reliable and motivated HR Truck Driver to join our team.

This is a casual position with guaranteed Monday to Friday hours (7:00am – 4:00pm), offering consistent work and optional overtime for those looking to earn extra.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Delivering and collecting skip bins throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
• Operating a flattop truck to collect and transport scrap metal.
• Safely loading, securing, and transporting materials using a forklift.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Providing professional customer service at collection and delivery sites.
• Working in accordance with company safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A current HR Driver's License (essential).
• A safe driving record and strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Experience operating skip bin or flattop trucks (preferred but not essential).
• Proven knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
• A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
