About You
You bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable young people and are passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning spaces. You will bring experience from either primary or secondary school environments and work well with education supports to provide the best support to students.
- Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- A teaching qualification at AQF Level 7 or higher
- Proficient to the prescribed standard in English, both oral and written
- Demonstrated administration skills including report writing, program development and maintaining student files
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team and excellent communication skills
- Current Senior First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Unrestricted driver’s licence, satisfactory police clearance, current working with children check card
- Full Australian working rights

Who We Are
Communicare Academy is an independent, non‑government CARE (Curriculum and Re‑engagement in Education) school operated by Communicare. We are committed to providing at‑risk and disengaged young people with high quality education options in a flexible and supportive learning environment.
We provide a holistic education experience that meets the diverse needs of our students including small classes, education support staff, social‑emotional development programs, personalised and flexible timetable options, excursions and camps, wrap‑around student support services from a variety of in‑school specialists and additional Communicare Group Ltd. support services.
