We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Functional Analyst (Maintenance and Manufacturing) to join our team in Brisbane or Toowoomba in a hybrid capacity.

This MQ28-focused role offers experts a chance to lead Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing modules, enhancing production efficiency and inventory accuracy at the fabrication facility for Australia’s first unmanned aerial aircraft. Acting as the SME, candidates will solve complex issues, drive system upgrades, and optimize workflows. The role requires strong collaboration with production, maintenance, and supply teams to align ERP solutions with business needs.

About the Role:

  • Module Ownership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing modules, including Discrete/Process Manufacturing, WIP, MRP/ASCP, and Oracle Maintenance.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and implement system enhancements to improve production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and scheduling.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as the Tier 2/3 support for complex functional issues related to production orders, resource requirements, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Implementation & Upgrades: Lead or support functional design, configuration, and testing for new module rollouts, patch applications, or process re‑engineering projects.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Managers, Maintenance Engineers, and Supply Chain planners to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Work Centers, and Asset registries within the Oracle environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Oracle Expertise: Proven experience 3+ years in functional configuration and support of Oracle EBS R12.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of:
    • Manufacturing/WIP: Production execution, resource management, and cost accounting.
    • MRP/Planning: Demand forecasting, material requirements planning, and supply chain orchestration.
    • Maintenance: Preventative and corrective maintenance workflows and asset management.
  • Australian citizen with the ability and willingness to obtain an AGSVA security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP migrations.
  • Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, FMCG manufacturing environments.
  • Certifications in Oracle E‑Business Suite.
  • Ability to perform root‑cause analysis on complex manufacturing data and supply chain discrepancies.
  • Excellent ability to bridge the gap between technical IT teams and non‑technical shop‑floor/operations staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
