In this role you will contribute to bank credit analysis within Fitch Ratings’ Western European Banks team, supporting rating decisions and sector insights. You will work with cross-functional colleagues across Europe, handling issuer monitoring, rating reports, and committee materials in a dynamic, international setting. You help translate economic, regulatory, and market developments into credit assessments, while developing analytical tools and contributing to research. This position offers rapid responsibility, exposure to senior management, and opportunities to influence ratings across Benelux banks.

Compensaciones / Beneficios • Monitor issuer ratings and prepare rating committee documentation • Analyze financial institutions sector and bank data across diverse environments • Update internal tools for peer analysis and charts • Draft and publish rating reports on issuers • Participate in rating committees for banks in the region and beyond • Interact with issuer contacts and engage with senior management • Contribute to sector research and country snapshots • Support wider team coverage of other banks in the portfolio, including ad-hoc data requests and committee packs preparation

Responsabilidades • Proven analytical experience (2–5 years) in credit- or audit-related fields • Background in financial institutions or corporate credit analysis • Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish • First university degree; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus • Ability to work independently xqbhyrx and in a team • Capable of working under time pressure and meeting deadlines • Strong financial statement analysis and writing/communication skills • Proficient in Excel • Willingness to travel occasionally
