MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Our client is a leading Engineering company designing and producing a range of bespoke products for some of the worlds largest companies. As a result of expansion, they are looking for additional Mechanical Design Engineers with a range of experience to join their existing Design Team and work on a range of Client led represents an excellent opportunity to start/develop your career with a leading employer.

THE ROLE

The successful candidates will be expected to liaise with customers and produce 3D designs for new products and amendments to existing products. These designs should consider the manufacturing process and provide a balance between functionality and aesthetics.

THE PERSON

• Hold a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Design Engineering or alternatively a lesser qualification if can demonstrate considerable practical experience.
• A minimum of one years experience working in either a Manufacturing or Engineering environment with strong design skills
• Competent in using at least one major design software package ie Solid works, Catia, Pro E etc.
• A strong problem solver able to come up with innovative designs to overcome Engineering issues
• Excellent communication skills both orally and written
• Strong personal skills to assist customer interaction

SALARY

A highly competitive package is available for the successful candidates dependent on their level of relevant experience.
