About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver & Storeperson to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Bayswater WA 6053. This is a pivotal role that combines both driving and warehouse operations responsibilities, playing an essential part in our daily logistics and distribution activities. You will be integral to ensuring our products are delivered safely and our warehouse operations run smoothly.

This position offers the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set across multiple areas of our business whilst contributing to our continued success.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles, transporting trailer parts and related goods to customers and distribution points
• Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely, cost-effective transportation
• Conduct pre and post-journey vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and organising stock according to company standards
• Prepare and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and careful handling of products
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, stock movements and warehouse activities
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other handling machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform regular warehouse housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers, management and team members regarding delivery updates and warehouse matters
• Assist in stock takes and inventory audits as required

What we're looking for

• Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a truck driver and/or storeperson, ideally within the distribution or warehousing sector
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (forklift licence preferred)
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to safe working practices
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties regularly
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and order management systems
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and certifications as required
