Project Manager K12 Curriculum Development

Position Overview:

The Project Manager(PM) will overseethe development of K-12 educational content for a US-based client, focusing on managing the project lifecycle, team collaboration, and content quality. Key Responsibilities Projectand Content Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailedtimelines and milestones for lesson plans,assessments, and multimedia resources.
• Content Development Coordination: Collaborate with subject matterexperts, instructional designers, and writers to develop, review,and refine curriculum content.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaisonbetween internal production and functional teams and external stakeholders (freelancers, vendors).
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential roadblocks (scope creep, resource limitations) and create mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Budget &Resource Management: Monitorproject budgets, managevendor contracts, and ensure efficient use of personnel and materials.
• Reporting and Documentation: To be well versed with creating scope documents and project plans.

Required Qualifications & Skill

• sEducation: Bachelor’s degree, PMP certified preferre
• dExperience: 3+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development, educational publishing, or EdTech project management
• .Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep understanding of K-12 learningframeworks, standards-based instruction
• .Project Management Skills: Proven abilityto use Waterfall and agileproject planning, or tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, or Jira to manage complex, multi-functional teams
• .Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership or educational stakeholders

  Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for tracking) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or C
• MSAI Knowledge: Should have experience in using basic AI tool
