Job Details

• Location: Etobicoke, ON M9W 5C3
• Salary: $37.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, full time
• Flexible hours
• Starts as soon as possible

Experience required: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Provide professional customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Secure cargo with tarping and ensure safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials

• AZ Class licence
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Documentation Knowledge

• Accident or incident reports
• Bill of lading
• Dangerous goods occurrence reports
• Inspection report (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip)
• Trip reports
