Division Two Teacher (Temporary, Full-time, 2026/2027)

This full‑time temporary position is for the 2026/2027 School Year. It is available in the high‑class Francophone community of Falher, Alberta, located in the Municipal District of Smoky River No. 130 along Highway 49. The school offers a dual‑track program of French Immersion and English, serving students from Elementary Core School through Grade 6.

The High Prairie School Division supports all new teachers with an orientation program and on‑site mentoring. Additional professional development opportunities are available in many forms to help staff grow their professional practice.

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Completion of a Bachelor of Education Degree
• Must have or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate, or proof of application to the Alberta Teachers’ Association
• Must produce a recent (less than six months old) Criminal Records Check that includes a Vulnerable Sector Check
