- Take responsibility for upholding dealership and manufacturer standards across the service department
- Ensure the quality of output from the service workshop is maintained at a high level and all customer expectations are satisfied or exceeded
- Oversee, prepare, supervise, and control all service and technical activities within the automotive workshop
- Provide high-level technical guidance to Workshop Controllers, Technicians, and Apprentice Technicians in diagnosing complex vehicle problems
- Provide direction, leadership, and feedback to all workshop team members and supervisory staff
- Monitor and maintain customer-service standards and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Implement systems to ensure customers are followed up after services and satisfaction is consistently monitored
- Coordinate with Workshop Controllers to ensure efficient allocation of labour and optimal productivity
- Inspect and road test vehicles where required to ensure repairs meet manufacturer and customer requirements
- Ensure all jobs are completed correctly the first time, maintaining high quality and efficiency standards
- Take responsibility for maintaining strong customer relations and resolving escalated issues
