About This Opportunity

Due to internal career progression, East Gippsland Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is seeking a Service Support Officer to join our team.

This role is central to the smooth running of our service, providing high‑quality administrative and operational support. Responsibilities include supporting intake conversations, organising meetings, facilitating group sessions, and assisting with a variety of ad‑hoc tasks.

Salary: $34.58‑37.73 per hour (SCHADS Level 2B) plus leave loading, super, and salary packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal frontline support role in a community‑led mental health service.
  • Be the operational heartbeat of the service, ensuring smooth intake and delivery of wellbeing.
  • Support intake conversations.
  • Organise meetings and facilitate group sessions.
  • Assist with a variety of ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Relevant administration qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters of a complex nature.
  • Committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes for end users.
  • Current valid driver’s licence and ability to travel for the role.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Right to work within Australia.
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check (valid within the last 12 months).
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
