From $99,370.69 to $116,906.91

This is a temporary opportunity up to 12 months in duration.

IT Business Analyst Job summary

Join the WSIB as a Business Analyst and help shape technology and process improvements that support teams across the organization. In this role, you will work with business partners, technical teams, and vendors to gather requirements, improve processes, support solution delivery, and help implement enterprise systems and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Support the design and delivery of solutions that align with business goals.
  • Analyze current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help design future‑state workflows.
  • Work closely with business teams, the Information Technology Cluster (ITC), vendors, and project partners to support successful implementation.
  • Assist with testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Contribute to procurement activities, including Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements and vendor evaluation.
  • Provide advice, guidance, documentation, training materials, and ongoing support for systems and process changes.
  • Lead or support projects by helping manage scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.

What You Bring

Education

  • University completion at undergraduate level with a specialty focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Commerce, Science or Social Science, and an Advanced or Associates’ Certificate in Business Analysis endorsed by IIBA.

Experience

  • Five years prior experience in business administration, business intelligence software and system analysis and workflow processes.
