Title: Ocean Freight Forwarder (Imports) Location: Cork Terms: Full-time | Permanent Package: €Neg DOE We are recruiting for an experienced Ocean Import Operator to join a leading international logistics provider based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced freight forwarding environment, managing ocean import shipments from origin through to final delivery while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end ocean import shipments.

Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and customers. Prepare and process import documentation. Arrange customs clearance and ensure compliance with Irish import regulations.

Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers. Resolve operational issues efficiently. Maintain accurate shipment records and internal systems.

Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Requirements Previous experience in ocean imports within freight forwarding. Experience working in the Irish logistics market.

Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple shipments.
