As an IT Intern, you will support daily IT operations, assist end users with technical issues, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, AI-driven solutions, and offshore communication systems, while working closely with experienced professionals and developing practical skills in a global business environment.
This is a temporary internship position based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, reporting directly to the IT Manager.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

As an IT Intern, you willsupport the IT team in delivering reliable technology services to both onshoreand offshore operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware,software, and connectivity issues;
  • Assist with the setup, deployment, and maintenance of laptops, desktops,mobile devices, printers, and peripherals;
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive,SharePoint, and other collaboration tools;
  • Help manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT asset inventory;
  • Assist in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, standard businessapplications, and network connectivity issues;
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user accountprovisioning and equipment preparation;
  • Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and assist withsecurity-related administrative tasks;
  • Assist in documenting IT procedures, user guides, and technical knowledgebase articles;
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents andservice requests;
  • Support IT services for offshore vessels and remote operations whenrequired;
  • Follow company policies, cybersecurity standards, and IT governanceprocedures.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Information Technology,Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word,Excel, and SharePoint;
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and basic IT support concepts;
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software installation, andtroubleshooting;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users and work collaboratively ina multicultural environment;
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting bothoffice and offshore operations;
  • Backup routine;
  • Hardware Inventory;
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools such as Claude, MicrosoftCopilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms;
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and customer-service mindset.
