About The Role
The Gyprock Trade Warehouse Operator is a Full-time position, based at Smeaton Grange โ NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre, and you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In This Role You Will
- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers.
- To provide operational support across the store and warehouse, with the role consisting mainly of manual handling activities and some forklift operation.
- Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
- Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
- Unloading inbound orders of stock.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
- Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
Working Hours
The Store's standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm, Saturday 7am to 11am (paid as overtime). Your ordinary hours of work will be 38 hours per week, commencing at 6:00am M-F, 7am on Saturday. You may be required to work additional hours to meet operational requirements.
Any hours worked beyond 38 hours per week will be paid in accordance with applicable overtime provisions providing you with the opportunity to earn additional income.
About You
- Current forklift license with sufficient experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
- Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships.
